Art contests are also held monthly and annually to encourage young artists to exercise their creativity.

Kids, however, are more excited about being stars of the school play. It takes months of practice and grueling rehearsals but kids will do anything to make it successful. As a parent, you probably need to help your kid practice their lines or singing their parts in the musical. You also probably need to help them prepare their costumes and it may be hard to think up of ways to spruce up their costumes but the simple answer is to accessorize. Onstage costumes would look better with jewellery and some parts may even require it. Pearl necklaces are common onstage jewelries.

Of course you won’t be lending you daughter your priceless heirlooms so why not buy a faux pearl necklace that’s readily available in most stores. Bracelets and rings are also pretty ways to make their costumes pop out. And silver and semi-precious stones are inexpensive ways to wear jewellery.

Always clear your schedule and maybe a good dinner meal afterwards will make your child feel rewarded. Your support as a parent is significant in inspiring your children to participate in more school activities and can be a source of pride for you and your kids.
